Chez Sebas

Hola a todos! Welcome to my blog. This is so exciting!!! My very first blog posting ... It's a bit late now to tell everybody Merry Christmas, so I'll wait for New Year's eve.

This feels like a story I'll someday find myself telling to a teenager who will laugh at me saying something in the lines of " ... and that [blogging] was cutting-edge high-tech by then? ... wow ..." let's just remember how old computers are [... "By the 1970s, the adoption of integrated circuit technology had enabled computers to be produced at a low enough cost to allow individuals to own a personal computer of the type familiar today"...].

Anyway... you might wanna take a look at some pics from my latest party.

Also, I wanted to say hi to Mitch, who insisted me on creating my own blog. I'd been playing around with the idea for a while, and couldn't resist from it after his invitation. You can find his here.

We've been chatting about a bunch of things... some funny ones are:

http://www.axolotl.org

I work for axalto. It's a great company to work for. Mitch was making fun of the similarity of both "words" axalto and axolotl... I wont blame him :-).

Going forward... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julio_Cortazar

OK, this one was strange. Earlier today (hmm .. well ... may be yesterday), I was chatting with a Beligium friend, Jeroen, regarding PHP GEN, an open-source project. Jeroen has been working very hard on PHP GEN, and Mitch has also been involved in the project at some point.

Julio Cortazar was born in Brussels. Also, he has a short story on the axolotls. I love his short stories. He lived part of his life in Paris. I'm Argentinean, and I've also lived in Paris for about two years. It turns out I've also been to Brussels a couple of times. Beautiful city.

So ... anyway I just find it amazing how everything seems to be all linked together. So I guess that's what my blog is doing ... putting together some stories, and linking things up. May be someday I'll get to analyzing them too!

That's it for now :-)

Have fun!
Seb
